In between the lines

Same old thing everyday
So, Ausmat is over.
Play eat sleep play eat sleep.
Most of the Ausmat-ians seemed to have thought that this Ausmat year
I wonder if my brain will rot at a faster rate now than it did post-SPM
is one of the most enriching part of their lives, with close bonds and whatnot
Maybe I'll join them zombies in Dragon Age.
Nothing wrong with that.
Or what was it again...darkspawn? yeah. Darkspawn.
Just that Ausmat was basically just another year for me.
The tall ones, Hurlocks (not Horlicks) reminds me of the Locusts in Gears of War.
Could be that I never felt THAT welcome.
Or maybe the Stroggs in Quake IV
Or maybe its just me and my aversion for socialising of most sorts.
Quite cute, I must say.
Or maybe I just didn't care.
Though they're the last thing I want to see when I awake.
Does it matter?
Time to get more games though.
I know for a well known fact theres talk behind my back. Not nice ones, I'm sure.
Too bad Assassins Creed II for PC won't be out till early next year.
With all the polite charade. Like I'll fucking fall for it. And like I fucking care.
Bummer.
Thing is, Ausmat isn't such a big deal to me. Its over. Thats it. Its over-rated

Same goes for Mass Effect 2.
And that basically means I have little or nothing to do with most of you anymore.
I'm itching for those.
Not like any of you care. And neither would I.
Guess for the next round of games its gotta be Left4Dead 2, and Borderlands
Having said that, there are a few people who I'm glad to have known. Or known better.
Hope Soobs is right bout Borderlands
Sean, KX, Weng, Pat, Myron.
Actually he is right.
Maybe a few more. Just that I don't really know them well.
Sometimes.
Later, Ausmat. Not quite the year I hoped it would be.
I put aside my motion sickness with FPS games when it comes to COD 4, Left 4 Dead, and now COD 6.
I'm just waiting for the next, and the most unpredictable phase of life.
Hope I can do the same for Borderlands.
University.
Why do some awesome games just seem so near yet so far...

By flight. By wheels. By foot.

Today was...somewhat fulfilling but not something you'd say "fun"

2 flights in a day.

Walking non-stop for a total of....5 hours. In batches of 2 hours and 3 hours.

y'know, that basically covers all the exercise mum nagged me to get this whole holiday, in one day.

Worst of all.

No afternoon nap.

But of course I said its fulfilling.

I...

-Spread my wings and took flight for the first time after 4 years.

-Got an interview done and over with.

-FINALLY got a pendrive. FIRST ever. All this while I relied on....various bizarre means to get my files across.

-Of course...I exercised. Walking round Low Yat Plaza for a good 2 1/2 hours in KL, up and down the terminals, and in some parts of Subang. Of course if you noticed, not in chronological order, cos you can't really imagine that.

I"m tired. All the plane flights, bus rides, taxi rides, and of course, eXeRcIsE. No more blabbers.

Nights.

W for Willpower? NOT

I promised myself I'd blog more after TEE but it seems that its not happening eh?

Should you be surprised?

Am I surprised?

Are you?

Well, don't be.

No matter what I tell myself to do.

No matter what I Try to Force myself to do

No matter if mum&dad nags me to stop

No matter if I've been lacking in exercise.

Fact is.

I'm a gamer at heart.

Almost nothing else can displace that.

Well nothings absolute I would believe.

So its not Nothing but Almost nothing.

I'll never know what might displace it, or fail terribly in displacing it.

But there might be something

Or more.

But whatever, I've digressed.

Thing is I'm a gamer.

Or rather, more of a gamer than a blogger.

So there.

I'll still win the battle of wills every now and then.

But I lose most of the times

Byee!!

World of Nothingness

Ever since I broke free from the chains of bondage (I know its overdoing it but heck...) post 11/11, I finally, (officially) began my gaming spree.

I know today's 13/11 but just assume I'm talking like it was on 11/11. I just somehow didn't think of writing my Independence Speech on the Actual day of Independence. Sad, I know.

I actually spent that whole night revamping this blog. Who could've known being simple can take just as much effort as being complicated?

Anyway 11/11 ended just like most days.

Only with a bit of shouting.

A bit.

Cos not everyone from Ausmat have broken free yet.

Some ended Today. (Science w/ Econs combo)

Some end only on 19/11. (Science w/ Comp. Sc., OR business combo, which includes Comp Sc)

Poor buggers.

But amongst them is one who's gonna nab an ATAR(TER) (just treat that like an auzzie relative-ranking score) of 99.95.

Who's da mystery man?

Yes its a man.

And I'm not Sexist.

It just happened to be a man

Or is he?

If you're even half-observant you could've seen him being mentioned somewhere in this blog not-too-long ago.

Okay back to my life...if you can call it one.

I've been gaming most of the day. NOT including time spent on biological needs (eg. eating, loo-ing, sleeping) I spend probably 98% of the time on the comp. And it pisses my mum to no end. While my dad doesn't even give a damn, since exams are done and dusted.

But at least my mum cares. No sarcasm here. She does. Really.

Not to say dad doesn't. He cares too. Just in a different way.

Okay well some people seem to have qualms about my tendency to place gaming above all else.

But its what brought me to what I am today man.

Where the hell do you think my English came from? Stacks of hardcore literature? No offense to avid readers, just that for me, books put me to sleep, except a distinct, and highly exceptional few.

And few means Really few.

Point is.

I learned my English from games.

Not all games.

Those games I used to refer to as being "thickly filled with dialogue"

which I later realise to be RPG games. Usually.

Conclusion:
Gaming > most other things.

Most LAH.

If I Ever (I stress IF, and EVER) get a lover then it'll be.......

hmm.........

Gaming = Lover

That seems a bit presumptuous...

I guess that would mean I Already have a lover!

And if you somehow, didn't get it (you should have...but lets not assume) I meant gaming IS my lover.

As if you haven't already noticed it.

So happy holidays to those who are on holidays.
Happy studying to those about to take SPM
Happy completing exam to A-level people who have yet to complete their AS/modules (CIE or EdExcel)
And happy gaming to any gamer enjoying His/Her games now.

See. I'm NOT sexist.

Simplicity

I find I like the new look better

Its simpler.

Its sleek

Colour schemes a bit better than before, IMO.

The links are ONCE AGAIN in ALPHABETICAL ORDER after I was against it for...goodness knows how long

Even separated it according to gender. And no, I'm not sexist. No!

And No More Useless stuff. Eg. quiz, useless add on graphics, etc.
(I still gave credit to Blogger for powering the blog though. That isn't Useless.)

Just like the standard old fashioned blog

The only exception being that little Tweet Tweet on the upper right corner.

And the stylo pic to the left of it.

I finally understand Accessibility a lot better now. And how much it benefits mankind! (but more importantly, me!)

So to sum up the benefits of this makeover
-More orderly
-Bigger fonts where it matters
-Nicer colour scheme. If only marginally.
-Less unnecessary widgets/add ons = more attention to the content!
-Easier on the eyes.

Disadvantages? Hmm. Why don't you tell me.

Parting shot

Final exams in a month and I've got lots of ground to cover

So I'll bid adieu (temporarily) as I sort out this messy pile of shit.
