To sum up what happened in recent days
1) I got something I wanted.
2) I went for a freezing trial and I got frozen with little resistance. Sad eh?
3) Thankfully, I managed to claw my way out of the ice cage and into a relaxing sauna.
And like you see in some movie/game reviews....
****SPOILER ALERT****
Okay so the real events were...
1) Not telling. lalalala....
2) ASEAN scholarship interview which...well lets just say I gained more *during* the interview than what I could gain *after* it. Geddit?
3) Okay so I got an offer elsewhere and I've accepted it.
****MORE SPOILERS ALERT!!!****
1) Still NOT telling. lalalala....
2) Okay fine so I got frozen solid in the interview. Some may wonder how an icy person can get frozen even further. But yeah, its just the way interviews are. No sour grapes though.
3) The offer is from Monash Sunway campus.
****FINAL SPOILERS ALERT!!! TURN AWAY IF YOU WANT AN AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE!!!!****
1) Fine...its a PSP. No surprises.
2) So the guy shot down my lack of passion (which is true), he sort of..."revealed" the backbiting nature that exists with extreme competition (DAMN RIGHT THERE!!!) and etc etc etc. I have a knack of forgetting insignificant details. Only the 2 aforementioned ones were of significant value. No sour grapes...wait did I just say that. Anyway he didn't personally attack me unlike what some interviewers would do and he even said "have fun" after I thanked him, and before I left. o.O not the words I'd expect after an extreme-freeze session. But oh well...humans can be interesting heh.
3) So yeah off to MBBS @ Monash University Sunway campus. Slowly it'll be the end of games...then the end of a relationship...and then end of social life...and then reclaim all these in the later stage of career. Supposing I get through it.
1 month to the beginning of the end leading to a new beginning. With a lot of thorns, hellfires, and whatnot in between. Phew...

Day of the dead living
14th August, Friday
0400 hour.
Sunway JB day trip to Monash University Sunway campus, Sunway University College, and Sunway Pyramid.Codename: Operation Phoenix Rising
-Information classified-
and the main point of the whole day, (and counting the day before, for all intents and purposes) was that I was awake for 31 consecutive hours beginning from 10 hours before departure of the bus. Or if you don't count a meagre and uncharacteristic 1 hour nap on the 13th, it'll be 41 hours since last period of full, restorative sleep (the 7-8 hours sort). I wish I knew why I couldn't sleep AT FUCKING ALL during a collective 9 hours of journey (to and fro). I could give a few hypothesis as to why such as:
-the soothing sound of the bus engines
-the one movie being played (on return trip, Apocalytpo, which I eventually just watched anyway, not bad show)
-mum calling me every few minutes on return trip
-someone spiked my drink with morphine
and of course, upon return to home sweet home, after cleaning up, and grabbing some antibiotics, I crashed to bed and said hello to lalaland for around 11 hours.
Thats talking about before AND after the trip, which I felt you guys wanted to know most.....or maybe not.
Now during the trip...
Ok actually thats just Chew Sin Nah, a cute adorable little girl in Ausmat who, cos of hoodie + cap + artsy angle = slightly emo-ish shot.
If I'm not mistaken.
Too tired for more pics.
Only 3 pics from Sunway University...cos I was too tired to bother taking any thing else.
Can't blame your students if they fall asleep in your lecture, but not that they will =P
Artsy shot fail #2
@ Sunway Pyramid.
And the only highlight here is ice skating. And subway. Nothing else. I need a whole day at least to sniff every corner in Pyramid for f--ks sake.
Groupie pic. courtesy of Sin Nah.Daniel was re-tying his laces while Trace gave up on ice-skating for the meantime. I was just catching a breath and you can see how f-ed up I was. Bad hair too.
So the conclusion is, I should just give up attempting artsy shots altogether =/

Alcoholic effect minus the alcohol
That pretty much describes Sunway College Masquerade Ball 09' =D
...at the end of it anyway.
Been a while since I last hit the dancefloor, and thats after a long hard day of "work"
and theres nothing like hitting the dancefloor with Julian firing it up at the epicentre =P
..and when he starts stripping. ahha!
and the ditzy lights gives the dance floor a "heroin-effect" where you go into mini trances and see flashes of movement every split second. sweet.
no pics. or lack of them anyway, thanks to "work". can always get the bulk of it later.
been feeling artsy this whole post, even if this amalgamation of words looks far from it.
and thats the end of one full night of denial, now I find deadlines hitting hard and fast.
damn.
toodles
