Defining moment

I'm Eu Vin. And yesterday was (definitely, for sure now) the longest day of my life.

Anyway, To make a reeeeaaaaallllllly long story short,




8.30am - 4.45pm : Final day of hospital attachment in HSA
4.45pm - 5.30pm : Commuting
5.45pm - 10.00pm : Sunway College JB Freshie's Nite






1) I'm dead tired. Period.
2) You don't know how immensely relieved I am.
3) Freshie's Nite was a blast! Even though it ended on a bit of an anti-climatic note.
4) Now comes JPA interview, a battle I'm doomed to perish in. zzzz.
5) My stress level is building. Below is a checklist to de-stress stress level. ( more will be added into the equation, of that there is no doubt)


a) Finish EALD "thesis"
b) Study Chemistry and Biology for their respective tests.
c) Complete hospital attachment
d) Make Freshie's Nite a blast
e) Get through JPA interview without looking like a dumbass, at the very least.
f) Catch up on every damn thing I missed during my 1 week absence from college. (yes, missing for one day hurts, but missing for one week is excruciating!)
g) find out what the heck "Moral" education is about. (since I was absent the recent week, remember?)








Useless trivia: March is about to end.

Applicable Mathematics test ended. Anxiety in its purest form up to the very last second (and beyond, considering we all...ahem..exceeded the given time of 2 hours)

And I feel like I've just handed in a piece of crap, considering the mess made as a last ditch attempt to rectify any sort of potential dumbass silly errors. Just need 60 marks out of 120 to pass and stay in.

Or should I aim higher?

March intake peeps in SYCJB are in! As I predicted, more opted for A-levels than the other courses (or so it seemed, from my beautiful view at the AUSMAT counter, ideally situated next to the A-levels counter). Can't say I blame them. It gives them ample time to catch up with the syllabus and be settled before AS and AL comes about.

Didn't really check out the other courses, but it seemed healthy enough.

And Freshie's Nite tickets have (finally) sold like hot cakes! For the first time in a very bleak 1 1/2 months. You really gotta hand it to the March-y (I made that one up) people for their zest to live college life to the fullest, unlike some people...ahem.







Ah, yes, and for the AUSMAT March-y people.....honestly, I pity you guys. I pray your sanity won't be compromised.

*They MAY survive, although the probability of that would be less than 0.5, as mentioned by the Applicable Maths lecturer.
**Not to further intimidate those doing AUSMAT, but you know well not to doubt a Maths teacher when it comes to probability

Leadership Camp for SMK Pei Hwa (which is in Muar, not JB) held at Sunway College JB.
I was there as one of the facilitators.
I was suppose to blog bout this last week, but too busy.
Anyway here it is.
First and foremost, apologies for the disjointed "story". It'll be too wordy if I were to add too many words. Repeated apology at end of story.

And for your info he scored 8A's and 2B's in the recent SPM. A gymnast who
represented Malaysia in SUKMA as well as the Youth Olympics.
a.k.a the "Happy morning" guy, as he's famously known for.

2nd Day.
A HAPPY morning should start with morning exercise.

And after the points were tallied up from the various activities undertaken by the 10 groups, there were 2 teams tied for runner up spot and to determine who is above the other...

Like those famous words of Jack Bauer we've all come to love and find it so bloody overused

Today, was the longest day of my life.

1) Wake up at 6.30. Sobered up. Grabbed a light meal.
2) Rushed through the final stages of Biology research project, on environmental factors with mutagenic properties, from 7.30-10. No small act, that.
3) Just as I was about to print the stuff needed, my dad's printer gave up on me with those lovely words

Your ink may have run out. Please replace the ink cartridge.

4) Packed up and rushed to college, crucial encrypted data in hand.
5) Once there, quickly bought credits to print (yes, to use the printing services in the computer lab, we gotta buy prepaid credits too. Sounds familiar?)
6) Saw the petite lady in charge of surveying the computer labs, and asked her to print out the supposedly crucial data and also a section of maths assignment. Deducted bout RM2 from my credits. heh.
7) Photocopied the particular section of maths assignment for fellow peeps.
8) Rushed through the maths assignment, or whatever was left of it, during....maths.
9) Completed maths assignment just as maths class was about to end.
10) Had lunch, and then proceeded to Biology class, where the encrypted data was handed in, and followed by regular lessons
11) Helped in arranging stuff for camp. And got a bit of shredding due to errors in the arrangment. So I re-arranged it. bleh.
12) Stayed back till 7pm for "aerobic exercise" practice. (more like dance routines, actually)
13) Back home. zzz.






Its not yet 24 hours. But its already THE longest day of my life. sigh.




But thank goodness for AUSMAT break next week, even though theres a trailer load full of things to do. A momentary pause for a continuous sprint. Will update more on this sapping long distance run, in the days/weeks/months to come.

Hypertension

I won't hide it from you guys. Not that its something you're gonna be keen to know anyway.

Life Australian Matriculation gets harder as the days go by. I get assignments/homework/duties thrown at me like confetti, when one gets settled, another 2 more gets fired right at me. Like a geometric progression, you know?

No real serious blogging till who knows when. My workload is as such:
- Homework (duh, its the bread and butter of every worn out student)
- Experiments + lab reports (being a triple science students mean triple the pain)
- Assignments...I'll name some major ones:
~ Debate (has since been settled, but some post-debate stuff to finish up)
~ Biology presentation (Environmental factors with mutagenic properties)
~ Maths assignment (to date...theres 3 sets of it)

-Topic tests every now and then to study for.
-Extra-curricular commitments
-Preparation for Freshie's Nite
-Facilitating a camp later this week
-"Working" on Open day (lasting 2 days) end of next week.

For instance, don't think Australian Year 12 programmes are as easy as it looks. You'll regret thinking that way.
