that tonight's *not* gonna be a good night.
Anyway the worse feeling that I (that's just me) have experienced the past 3 months is....
NOT heartbreak.
NOT losing anything valuable.
NOT being yelled at
its when I've exhausted all the games I have and am left with virtually nothing to play and too much time on my hands. Dammit.
The good stuff this year is only gonna be out mainly in march-april.
At least Mass Effect 2 was really good stuff. 2 playthroughs x 30 hours = 60 hours. Might play it again after a breather. Insanity difficulty maybe.
This goes to show how desperate I am to start uni life as this is all I have to say of life at this point of life. sigh

That time of the year. Again.
Christmas dawns
The eve draws to a close and the day itself draws nigh
Christmas itself has different meaning to many people
For Christians and some curious people who know about it, its to celebrate the birth of Jesus roughly two thousand years ago.
For the others, its probably santa, his reindeers (or not) and multicoloured wrapped gifts, candies, sweets and of course, the warnings that come with being a naughty kid.
For those whose idea of Christmas is neither of the aforementioned two, its probably just another mundane day, where the cycle of survival continues.
Or something else I don't realise.
Anyhow for a random info I'm installing FIFA 10 while typing this.
Speaking of which my Christmas gifts were....(surprise SURPRISE)
Borderlands
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor
Need for Speed Shift.
FIFA 10
Actually the last 3 were my brother's choices. Only Borderlands was personally requested. By yours truly.
I'll play all the others anyway. Cos they're decent games too. I suppose.
Soobs I sincerely, dearly hope you're right bout this game (Borderlands). If not....well, lets just say I might just take something straight out of a Nazi guidebook and run you through with it.
Just kidding.
In fact, I think it'd be better to lend you the game so we can both perhaps go at it together online which would be a helluva lot more fun than solo-ing.
Lets hope it works out.
Moving on...
Final Fantasy X was a great experience.
At time of writing this I've clocked in approximately 155 hours of gameplay in one playthrough
Although admittedly most of it went to ol' repetitive grinding.
Its rewarding anyhow.
And I've yet to be fully prepared for the ultimate boss of the game.
All goodgreat things must come to an end.
And so will my FF X run. In a few days time.
Damn I rambled on games for about nearly the whole of this post.
But thats all I did for my holidays
Cos I'm expecting next to zero time for games come varsity life.
So yeah happy gaming, shopping, partying, sleepover-ing, turkey feasting, and gift tearing to all of you.
And to fellow Christians lets just say Happy Birthday to Jesus
And cheers to AUSMAT results in 6 days.
Dammit...

In between the lines
Same old thing everyday
So, Ausmat is over.
Play eat sleep play eat sleep.
Most of the Ausmat-ians seemed to have thought that this Ausmat year
I wonder if my brain will rot at a faster rate now than it did post-SPM
is one of the most enriching part of their lives, with close bonds and whatnot
Maybe I'll join them zombies in Dragon Age.
Nothing wrong with that.
Or what was it again...darkspawn? yeah. Darkspawn.
Just that Ausmat was basically just another year for me.
The tall ones, Hurlocks (not Horlicks) reminds me of the Locusts in Gears of War.
Could be that I never felt THAT welcome.
Or maybe the Stroggs in Quake IV
Or maybe its just me and my aversion for socialising of most sorts.
Quite cute, I must say.
Or maybe I just didn't care.
Though they're the last thing I want to see when I awake.
Does it matter?
Time to get more games though.
I know for a well known fact theres talk behind my back. Not nice ones, I'm sure.
Too bad Assassins Creed II for PC won't be out till early next year.
With all the polite charade. Like I'll fucking fall for it. And like I fucking care.
Bummer.
Thing is, Ausmat isn't such a big deal to me. Its over. Thats it. Its over-rated
Same goes for Mass Effect 2.
And that basically means I have little or nothing to do with most of you anymore.
I'm itching for those.
Not like any of you care. And neither would I.
Guess for the next round of games its gotta be Left4Dead 2, and Borderlands
Having said that, there are a few people who I'm glad to have known. Or known better.
Hope Soobs is right bout Borderlands
Sean, KX, Weng, Pat, Myron.
Actually he is right.
Maybe a few more. Just that I don't really know them well.
Sometimes.
Later, Ausmat. Not quite the year I hoped it would be.
I put aside my motion sickness with FPS games when it comes to COD 4, Left 4 Dead, and now COD 6.
I'm just waiting for the next, and the most unpredictable phase of life.
Hope I can do the same for Borderlands.
University.
Why do some awesome games just seem so near yet so far...

W for Willpower? NOT
I promised myself I'd blog more after TEE but it seems that its not happening eh?
Should you be surprised?
Am I surprised?
Are you?
Well, don't be.
No matter what I tell myself to do.
No matter what I Try to Force myself to do
No matter if mum&dad nags me to stop
No matter if I've been lacking in exercise.
Fact is.
I'm a gamer at heart.
Almost nothing else can displace that.
Well nothings absolute I would believe.
So its not Nothing but Almost nothing.
I'll never know what might displace it, or fail terribly in displacing it.
But there might be something
Or more.
But whatever, I've digressed.
Thing is I'm a gamer.
Or rather, more of a gamer than a blogger.
So there.
I'll still win the battle of wills every now and then.
But I lose most of the times
Byee!!

Silent, Screaming Death
I dunno why I'm doing this, but I just feel like doing this
Yeah, to the few in Ausmat M-chat, you'd have probably know what the heck I was talking about. Well here it is....not quite yet.
Actually, it wasn't really a game that crossed my mind at all when Ausmat Semester break started. I got GTA IV and Sims 3 (2 games, totally contrasting in nature) initially. But since GTA IV for some reason REFUSED to work on my comp (Sims 3 worked perfectly fine, thank goodness), I went back to the shop, and since GTA IV was 3 DVD (yes, games nowadays are getting fatter and fatter...) to swap it for Left 4 Dead (nice game, but its not the topic, and its only nice playing it with people) and....of course,
........... scares the fucking daylight out of your pathetic miserable stale life (thats how mines like, anyway) while you try to get your sorry ass out of that shithole of a ship while finding out some freaking conspiracy going on in the background while you're fending for your pathetic life amidst the bloody necromorphs.
*phew*
p.s This ain't copy pasted from a site. Its my own rendition of the gist of the storyline.
Okay, before I move on, I'll show you some..delightful scenes from the game..not my own pics...too busy being freaked to get any..
WARNING: TO SQUEAMISH ONES, DO NOT LOOK FURTHER LEST YOU PUKE BLOOD
ok you won't puke blood but oh well here goes.

and another cute pic

All in a days work.
And a particularly interesting scene, if you'd like..
So there, a glimpse of what I HAVE to go through every freaking corner. And not to mention moments where I have to fight off a necromorph which regenerates when you blow off its limbs. Every. Single. Fucking. Time.
If any of you played Resident Evil: Nemesis, you'd probably have an idea of what its like
I never played any RE games, btw.
Will upload a video of it (Dead Space REGENERATOR a.k.a the Hunter) later. If I can find a good one. And if you even care to see it.
DISCLAIMER: Above pics and video are not mine, not from my playthrough, and nothing do with me. Its merely to give a general idea of how it looks and plays. TY.
